Lara Jewell No Braid is an enrolled member of the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Reservation in North Dakota (Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara). She is also Oglala Lakota and lives on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Her Lakota name is Wanbli Ska Win (White Eagle Woman), and her Hidatsa name is Aru Naarui Cagi-sh (Goes Along Good).
A former fancy shawl and traditional dancer, she currently dances Women’s Jingle and works on outfit repairs and updates to her powwow regalia. She is honored to participate in SkasdiCon 2026 and is beyond excited to see the hard work and craftsmanship of this year’s cosplay entries!
